This is stated in an official statement from the organization: “Following consultation with the Marseilles authorities and taking into account the changing public health situation, the Board has concluded that flexibility in site selection is essential to reduce cross-border travel as much as possible and to minimize the risk of COVID-19 transmission. the finals on May 21 and 22 ”.
So, what are the main decisions of the leaders of the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup?
1. Next year’s finals will take place at the Velodrome in Marseille. They are tentatively scheduled for May 27 and 28.
2. Tickets purchased by fans will be valid for the next year. Those who wish can return them, having received the full cost back.
3. Semifinal matches will take place at the home stadiums of the participants. The semi-finalist pairs and the semi-final arenas will be drawn live on April 11th.
