From July 11 to 17, the men’s national rugby-7 team of Uzbekistan took part in an international tournament in the city of Taldykorgan (Kazakhstan).
As a result of this tournament, which was attended by teams from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, our athletes took 3rd place, only slightly behind the professional clubs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Asia-sport Dinamo” and “Olimp”. In addition, the team of Uzbekistan, took part in the judging and training master class. Refereeing master class held Chief Secretary, judge of the highest category, Amirtaev E.K, and his assistant judge of the national category Manakov V. Training and coaching master class conducted by the coach of the highest category of the RK, a multiple prize winner of the RK Championships, Petukhov A.D.
In the near future, the leadership and coaching staff of the FRU planned to participate in the National Team Championship RK among men’s teams, which will allow our team in the future to improve the quality of integral training.
