Rugby tournament among law enforcement and security agencies ended.
On December 5, 2020, the final match of the Cup of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan in rugby-15 took place in Tashkent, in which 10 teams from various power units of the Republic of Uzbekistan participated. The exciting match between the teams “MHSK” and “Djasorat” ended in favor of “Djasorat” with a score of 22:20.
First, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bahodir Kurbanov and the President of the NOC Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov made an opening speech. Mr. Kurbanov and Mr. Shoabdurakhmanov underlined the importance of holding sports tournaments, including rugby in the framework of 5 initiatives put forward by the President of our country. And they also wished good luck to the finalists of the tournament.
After the match, the award ceremony was held, in which NOC President Rustam Shoabdurakhmanov, Deputy Chairman of NOC Azizdjon Kamilov and General Secretary of NOC Oybek Kasimov, First Vice President of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan – Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan Alisher Narbayev, General Secretary of Uzbekistan Rugby Federation Kakhramon Djalilov and Chairman of UZEX Ziyoviddin Badriddinov took part.
It should be noted that the holding of sports events in our country is an important aspect in order to motivate our young generation to lead a healthy lifestyle.
