A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed with the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On November 10, 2020, in light of the implementation of the relevant paragraphs of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 29, 2019 №PD-4500 “On measures for the development of rugby in the Republic of Uzbekistan”, the ceremony of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held in the Uzbekistan Rugby Federation. The Chairman of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan S.S.Safoev, the rector of the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard M.Kh. Rustambaev and other representatives of the above organizations were present.

On the initiative of the Institute, this document was developed taking into account the proposals and comments of the Federation, in order to develop long-term bilateral cooperation. The abovementioned Memorandum implies the involvement of the coaching and referee corps of the Federation for the full preparation of the National Guard team to participate not only in local competitions, but also in international tournaments. In addition, it is possible to attract famous trainers-consultants, both from the Federation’s and from the Institute’s sides, in order to conduct master classes and educational lectures. Also, it is planned to develop educational programs and manuals by the leading coaches of the Uzbekistan Rugby Federation, in cooperation with leading specialists and teachers of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Uzbekistan Rugby Federation is grateful to the management of the Military-Technical Institute of the National Guard for striving for the comprehensive development of rugby in our country.
