Due to the epidemiological situation with the COVID-19 coronavirus, the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), together with the National Olympic Committee of Thailand and the Organizing Committee of the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, decided to postpone the 6th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, which were to be held in Bangkok and Chonburi Province from March 10 to 20, 2022 year.
The main reason for the postponement of the games is the global COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, travel restrictions and health protocols across the continent:
According to the OCA, the 6th Asian indoor and martial arts games will be held from November 17 to 26, 2023 year.
