The Uzbekistan Rugby Federation congratulates you on the Day of the Uzbek language!
The Uzbek language is the result of the interaction of the Turkic languages with the languages of the Khorezmians, Sogdians, Bactrians, Sakas. The formation of the Uzbek language was complex, multifaceted and took many centuries.
Today, the Uzbek language is our pride. Thus, our President, Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, on October 20, 2020 signed a decree on the further development of the Uzbek language and the improvement of the language policy in the country. It envisages improving the system of teaching the state language, creating conditions for learning the Uzbek language in the country, completing the transition to the Latin alphabet and introducing a system for assessing the level of administrative personnel in the state language. Starting this year, on October 21, Uzbekistan celebrates the Day of the Uzbek language.
In honor of this holiday, the Uzbekistan Rugby Federation presented the previously prepared World Rugby textbooks in our native language (Cyrillic and Latin) to the regional rugby departments. The Federation will continue to make every effort to maintain the Uzbek language through such activities.
If the language is alive, then the nation is also alive! Congratulations on the Day of the Uzbek language!
