Happy birthday to the veteran of Uzbek rugby.
Dоalilov Kakhramon was at the very origins of the emergence of a spectacular sport in Uzbekistan – Rugby.
It was he who, in 1969, together with his friends and under the guidance of Valera Belov, created the first rugby team at the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute.
It was this team, being the ancestor of rugby in Uzbekistan, that laid the foundation for traditions that other generations of Uzbek rugby players continue through the decades.
Kakhramon Djalilov still devotes all his time to the popularization and development of rugby in our republic. As the General Secretary of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan, he made it so that rugby has found its second wind in our country. In addition, his great work has been invested in the international recognition of our rugby and is appreciated by the fact that Kakhramon Djalilov is a member of the Executive Committee of Asia Rugby.
The Uzbekistan Rugby Federation, all its regional federations and athletes sincerely congratulate Kakhramon Djalilov on his birthday.
