There are 3 days left before the rugby-7 tournament among girls under 18, dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day.

On the initiative and support of Uzbekistan RTSB and the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan, it is planned to hold a traditional rugby-7 tournament among girls under 18, dedicated to “March 8-International Women’s Day”

On March 4-5 this year, the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan, together with the responsible organization assigned to the federation JSC “Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange”, plans to hold an annual U-18 rugby tournament dedicated to International Women’s Day.

Teams of girls under 18 from the regions of Uzbekistan will take part in the competition.

Teams of girls from Andijan, Fergana, Namangan, Syrdarya, Navoi, Khorezm, Karakalpakstan and Tashkent will participate in the tournament.

The purpose of this tournament is the further development of rugby, active promotion and popularization of this sport among the general population of the republic, as well as improving the level of skills and qualifications of women’s rugby teams. Among other things, the tournament will provide an opportunity to select (select) gifted athletes from young people studying in educational institutions.

We are confident that the tournament will be held in a festive mood, in a solemn spirit, as well as in a fair and friendly fight. And this year many fans and admirers from different regions of our country will come to cheer for their favorite team as guests.

The tournament will be held in the “Specialized Children’s and Youth Sports School in Athletics and Game Sports of the City of Tashkent” (landmark: Kuylyuk massif).

The tournament will be held over two days: First day March 4 – from 9.00 to 15.00. The second day is March 5 from 9.00 to 13.00. On March 5, from 13.00 hours, the awards ceremony for prizes will be held.
