From June 14 to June 20, 2022, the first Military Rugby-7 Championship among military personnel will be held in France, in the Lot-et-Garonne department in Agen.
The championship was organized with the support of the French Delegation to CISM, the National Defense Sports Center with the support of CISM (Conseil International du Sport Militaire) and the President of the French Rugby Federation, Mr. Bernard Laporte.
The following countries will take part in the World Cup: USA, Great Britain, France, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, Latvia, Sri Lanka, Australia, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Georgia, Nigeria, Palestine and Uzbekistan. The total number of participants will be 450 athletes, coaches and representatives of delegations.
Only active military athletes will take part in the competition.
The championship will be held in accordance with the rules of World Rugby.
