A meeting of representatives of the SCO member states with the participation of heads of ministries and departments of physical culture and sports is underway. Delegates attending the event will present their reports and presentations to the audience. In particular, the Secretary General of the NOC of Uzbekistan Oybek Kasimov briefed on the preparations for the IV Asian Youth and Asian Paralympic Games in Tashkent in 2025.
A special commission of the OCA visited Tashkent and analyzed the possibilities of our capital. Despite the fact that the commission presented its conclusions that Tashkent has all the possibilities for holding competitions, the esteemed President of the country gave instructions on the construction of a Special Olympic Village and new sports facilities for holding the Games at a high level.
The footage you see is taken from the project of the new Olympic Village, which will be built for the Tashkent 2025 Asian Youth Games. Spread over 100 hectares, this area includes both a dedicated Olympic Village and new facilities for a range of sports, a hostel for guests and other buildings.
Currently, the design and estimate documentation is in the process of approval, and by the end of 2024 it will be built and put into operation,” said the Secretary General of the NOC.
During the presentation, Oybek Kasimov spoke in detail about the features of new sports facilities, about the directions in which specialized buildings will be built.
