As we reported earlier, on September 9-10, the Cup of the Republic of Uzbekistan in rugby-7 among men’s and women’s teams was held at the stadium of the Uzbek State University of Physical Culture and Sports in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region.

3rd place – Navoi region
4th place – Tashkent
5th place – Fergana region
6th place – Namangan region
7th place – Andijan region
Among girls:
1st place – Republic of Karakalpakstan
2nd place – Namangan region
3rd place – Khorezm region
4th place – Navoi region
5th place – Andijan region
6th place – Fergana region
According to the results of the Cup of Uzbekistan in rugby-7, the athlete of the national team of the men’s team, Ilya Sokolov, and the athlete of the national team of the women’s team, Ainura Abzieva, were awarded the nomination “Best Player of the Tournament”. They were awarded valuable prizes from the organizers of the tournament.
The ceremony of awarding memorable gifts and diplomas to the winners and prize-winners of this competition was attended by the khokim of Chirchik – Davron Hidoyatov, deputy khokim of the Tashkent region – Jamshid Babajanov, chairman of the rugby Federation of the Tashkent region – Murodjon Nosirov, secretary of the rugby Federation of the Tashkent region – Utkirbek Rashidov, representatives of the media and the federation.
