A seminar on rugby was held at the Lyceum of UWED
On February 7, a seminar was held at the Academic Lyceum of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy with the participation of representatives of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan.
The seminar discussed issues of popularization of rugby in Uzbekistan, active involvement of young people in sports clubs and clubs, creation of opportunities for them to play rugby, as well as orientation of talented youth to national teams in this sport.
JICA volunteer coach Rio Moria, within the framework of the seminar, informed high school students about the development of rugby in the world and, in particular, in Japan. He also spoke about the main international rugby and rugby-7 competitions.
The seminar was attended by the head coach of the youth national rugby team of Uzbekistan Egor Lebed, JICA volunteer coach Rio Moria, Executive director of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan Bekzod Ibragimov.
