Asia Rugby representative arrived in Tashkent
On November 13, 2020, a representative of Asia Rugby (consultant for the development of rugby in Asia) Benjamin van Rooyen arrived in Tashkent. At the moment, our guest is going to Fergana, where the II tour of the Uzbekistan Rugby-7 Championship will take place from November 14 to 15. Also, a visit of a delegation of the Uzbekistan Rugby Federation, with the participation of B. van Rooyen, to Bukhara from 17 to 19 November is planned to conduct tag-rugby educational training for physical culture teachers from 20 schools, according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 29, 2019 №PD-4500 “On measures for the development of rugby in the Republic of Uzbekistan”.
This visit of the foreign representative of Asia Rugby, which will last until November 27, was organized in order to strengthen bilateral cooperation, familiarize with the work done by the Federation and discuss further development prospects.
