Results of the year in the Uzbekistan Rugby Federation
Today, on December 29, an extraordinary reporting and election conference was held in the conference hall of Uzbekistan Rugby Federation . Opening the conference, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of Uzbekistan Rugby Federation S. Safaev summed up the development and promotion of rugby in our country during 2022. Defining the main tasks facing the federation, S. Safaev instructed the work plan of the federation for 2023 to develop and approve in particular, to control the progress of the construction of a rugby sports base, the participation of national teams in international competitions and involvement in rugby youth, students, schoolchildren and other categories of the population.
Speaking during the conference, Deputy Minister of Sports Development Sh. Makhmudov and Director of the Republican Higher School of Sportsmanship in team sports Zh. Akramov highlighted the achievements of the national rugby teams at the first World Championship among military personnel and the Asian U-20 Championship. It was emphasized that among team sports in our country in 2022, high results were achieved in rugby, championships and tournaments of the Republic were held in a timely manner, and the federation correctly used the targeted financial resources allocated from the state budget according to the calendar plan.
Speaking during the conference, the General Secretary of the Federation K. Djalilov presented the annual report for 2022 on the training camps held and the participation of the national team in international competitions. Continuing his speech, K. Djalilov, according to the agenda, voiced questions to the delegates of the reporting and election conference on the approval of the new composition of the Executive Committee and the Audit Commission of the Federation.

Summing up the results of the reporting and election conference, the chairman of the federation S. Safaev noted that for 2023 the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev set great goals and objectives for the development of sports in our country. And the staff of the federation, together with the responsible organizations, will make every effort to fulfill the tasks set.
