In the city of Namangan, in the children’s and youth sports school No. 2 of the Turakurgan district, on January 14, a regional rugby-7 championship was held, dedicated to the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
Competitions were held among boys and girls aged 16-17.
According to the results of the open championship among youth teams, the following teams won prizes:
- Turakurgan Team
- Kosonsoy 1 team
- Kosonsoy 2 team
According to the results of the open championship among girls’ teams, the following teams won prizes:
- Turakurgan 2 Team
- Turakurgan 1 Team
- Team of the Chust region
During the event, the athletes of the girls’ teams congratulated the athletes and coaches of the youth teams on the Defender of the Fatherland Day, and following the results of the competition, the teams were awarded diplomas.
