In order to ensure the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 29, 2019 UP-4500 “on measures to develop the sport of rugby in the republic” and dated May 18, 2021 UP-5114 “on additional measures to develop the Paralympic movement” on April 18 this year. A meeting was held between the leadership of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan and the leadership of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, a bilateral memorandum of cooperation was signed. The purpose of this cooperation is to further develop the sport of rugby among people with disabilities, increase the coverage of sports among them and create the necessary conditions for the introduction of systematic work in this area to achieve the goals.
