The Universiade among men in rugby-7 was held in Tashkent
On May 21-24, 2023, the final games of the Universiade among men in rugby-7 were held for the first time at the UzNu stadium in Tashkent.
Men’s teams took part in these competitions: the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Tashkent city, Fergana, Navoi, Tashkent, Namangan, Jizzakh, Samarkand, Syrdarya, Surkhandarya, Andijan, Khorezm and Bukhara regions.
The teams were divided into four groups ("A", "B", "C" and "D") and played in a round robin system (each with each).
By the nymber of points scored, the places in the Universiade competitions were distributed as follows:
