On February 11, 2021, the team of our rugby players began training camps in the sports complex of the Ministry of Defense (Tashkent), which will last until February 27, 2021. The purpose of this event is the effectively preparation the Uzbekistan National men’s rugby-7 team, in order to participate in Open Central Asia Tournament, as well as to increase the physical condition and team spirit of the men’s team.
It should be mentioned that the training is conducted by the head coach of the team Kulikov Danil and the coach-consultant from South Africa Human Andre. The introduction of coaching experience and knowledge of foreign specialists is the key to the fruitful development of rugby and popularization of this sport in our country.
