The Women’s Six Nations 2022 kicked off in style on the weekend as England, France and Wales all secured round one victories.
The Championship is taking place in a standalone international window for a second consecutive year but with teams playing five matches apiece instead of three, as they did in last year’s condensed format.
This year’s Women’s Six Nations has been given some added spice, if any were needed, by the fact that Scotland and Wales, and England and France will play each other in their respective pools at Rugby World Cup 2021, playing in 2022.
