Women’s rugby-7 team created in Bukhara
In Bukhara, on the basis of the sports club of the Bukhara State University, a women’s rugby-7 team was created.The backbone of the team was made up of first and second year students of the Faculty of Physical Education of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute. The athletes of the created team have sports experience in other sports, such as basketball, handball, kurash, athletics, jiu-jitsu.
The first players of the team were: Gulbahor Murodova, Khusnora Rabimova, Dilnura Ramazonova, Sevara Shukhratova, Gulshoda Usmonova, Sabrinabonu Khamidova, Shakhzoda Djabborova, Uldjanoy Abdurahimova, Madina Eshniyozova, Ugiloy Farmonova, Feruza Kudratova.
Team coach Golibjon Saidov is a teacher at the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education of the Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute.
The team plans to take part in the Universiade and the student league under the auspices of the sports student association “Talaba”.
