The Uzbekistan men’s Rugby Sevens national team has received an official invitation to participate in the 2026 Asian Games, which will be held in Aichi and Nagoya, Japan.
A confirmation letter has been sent by Asia Rugby to the Secretary General of the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan, Kahramon Jalilov. The letter states that the national team will compete in the Rugby Sevens tournament as part of the continent’s largest multi-sport event.
Asia Rugby congratulated the Rugby Federation of Uzbekistan on this achievement, highlighting the country’s contribution to the development and promotion of rugby in the region, as well as its active participation in international competitions.
